I feel for the women who think it is their fault, because I did too! It is disgusting how insecure I had become and was basically fooling my own self. I was 17. smart, well educated with a career that would go places and because of jealousy and some hidden psychological need to dominate, I started over and am happy today. The seond part of my recovery was the fear that it is going to happen again, specially if I told my boyfriend that I had been thru' abuse. Am still struggling with it and pray and hope every day that it gets beeter. Amen!
